Moodboard Monday
Well guys, the kids were out of school for a snow day yesterday, so this Moodboard Monday is coming to you on a Tuesday ;) I try to take a palette from a photograph of nature, floral arrangements, buildings, vignettes, or fashion, and translate it into an interior space. The mood in this image…there’s something so raw about it, and I love the ochre tones. I’m not normally drawn to yellows all that much, but this deeper rich color definitely has it’s appeal.
Ochre could get overwhelming fast in a bedroom, so instead of it being the main color, I used it as an accent here in the tones of the rugs and pillows, and let the softer grays and blues dominate. The pillows are from Danielle Oakey’s new collection she just launched and they are so good! That stripe may be coming to my house :)
